Neal Barclay, CEO of Meridian Energy

Our guest speaker for September is Neal Barclay, CEO of Meridian Energy (NZX-MEL).  As a quick overview Meridian is a renewable only, electricity generator. And an electricity retailer. They make up about 30% of electricity generation in this country and they do that by only using renewable sources. Plus they also have a significant retail customer base. Their largest customer is the Aluminium Smelter at Bluff. They also have another 300,000 customers that are supported through their Powershop and Meridian brands.  If you are interested in holding stock in a company with an almost zero carbon footprint then you will want to hear this presentation...and if you already hold Meridian this is the ideal opportunity for an update on the company.
